We have a fulltime translator-interpreter on-site in Russia, so that all correspondence and e-mail with our clients can be conducted in clear and concise English.

Why Russia?
As is well known, Russian technical training is second to none. Russian programmers and software development engineers are some of the most talented in the world. Ask global technology leaders such as IBM, Intel (Intel’s second software center in Moscow, with six more planned around the country), Boeing, Hewlett-Packard and Texas Instruments (cellular phone chips being done in TI-Moscow engineering center), for example, who all have located substantial technology centers in Russia.

Our location also means that we can provide our customers with a follow-the-sun operation. Our working day is almost done by the time that the US comes on line. This means that we can seek comment and input on our code overnight – ready to pick up the following morning – and vice versa. Vladimir, the General Director of our Engineering Center, is completely bi-lingual with more than 10 years of high level technical software engineering. Vlad is your technical contact at the Center. He is supported by 2 assistant managers, a full time translator, a systems administrator, and a full complement of skilled software engineers.

Hillsdale's programming teams fulfill your functional specifications, helping you deliver projects on time, within budget. Our software development teams have years of experience designing and writing code for a wide variety of applications - in just about every programming language that exists. Today we have 20 software engineers in our group, with the capacity to add staff as required to meet client requirements. At the start of a new assignment, Hillsdale Corporation provides a team of programmers dedicated to your project full-time. No floating coders. The people who start with your project stay with it.

We have a pool of excellent engineers to draw upon at short notice – meaning that increasing our capacity at short notice is not a reason to turn an unexpected requirement into a crisis.

Our turn time is based on delivering in time to meet customer needs. We strive to complete our projects before their due dates – and have an excellent record of being able to do so.

Client Input & Progress Reports
We have observed that most initial specifications evolve over the course of a project. We are accustomed to working on the development of specifications in collaboration with our clients. Hillsdale Corporation normally provides weekly progress reports for customers. Daily reports are available on request.

All engineers meet together weekly to review all projects. The management of our engineering center holds a weekly review session with each team. Specific team progress and problems are presented to the entire staff for analysis and comment. This helps accelerate problem-solving by allowing our entire group to participate in developing plans to tackle any particular problem areas.
